The 2026 Admissions Scheme of University of Phuong Dong is officially published and regularlyly updated to support applicants in evaluating suitable admission methods, choosing academic programs, and subject combinations for the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination and university admission process

Method 1 (Code 100)

Admission based on the National High School Graduation Examination results.

Admission based on High School Academic Records (Transcripts).

Method 3 (Code 301)

Direct admission in accordance with Article 8 of the Ministry of Education and Training’s admission regulations.

Method 4 (Code 402)

Admission based on the results of the Competency Assessment (HSA) administered by Vietnam National University, Hanoi, or the Thinking Assessment (TSA) by Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Method 5 (Code 405)

Admission based on a combination of the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination results and aptitude test scores for Architecture programs.

Admission based on a combination of high school academic results and aptitude test scores for Architecture programs.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES / STEPS

Step 1

Register for admission online or submit your application directly to the Admissions & Communications Office.

Step 2

Register your admission preferences (choices) to University of Phuong Dong on the Ministry of Education and Training’s system.

Step 3

Receive admission results, confirm enrollment on the Ministry’s system, and complete all required procedures according to the University’s guidelines.

Candidates must complete all steps to finalize the admission process.Throughout the admission period, University of Phuong Dong regularly organizes experiential activities, counseling sessions, and career orientation programs to help candidates better understand their chosen majors and future career paths.

1. What documents are required for the admission dossier?
  • Admission Application Form (the University’s template)
  • Certified copy of High School Academic Records/Transcripts (covering all 3 years of high school)
  • Original Certificate of the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination results
  • Temporary High School Graduation Certificate (for candidates graduating in 2026) or a notarized copy of the High School Graduation Diploma (for candidates who graduated before 2026)
  • Original Certificate of Aptitude Test results issued by authorized universities (required for candidates applying to Architecture programs)
2. What is the deadline for submitting the admission application?

The application deadline is June 30, 2026.

3. Can I apply for admission online?

Yes, candidates can apply for admission online via the official website: https://phuongdong.edu.vn/tuyen-sinh

4. Does the University accept Competency Assessment test results?

Yes, University of Phuong Dong accepts the results of the Competency Assessment (HSA) conducted by Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Thinking Assessment (TSA) administered by Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

5. Can students change their major or adjust their study plan during their studies?

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, students who are not in their first year or final year may apply for a change of major during their course of study.

6. What are the admission requirements and quality assurance thresholds (admission cut-off scores) at UPD?

Admission Requirements / Thresholds

  • National High School Graduation Examination (2026): total score ≥ 15 points
  • High School Academic Records (Transcripts): total score ≥ 18 points
  • Assessment Exams: HSA ≥ 50 points, TSA ≥ 40 points
  • For Admission Based on the National High School Graduation Examination (2026): The total score of the three subjects in the admission combination (on a 30-point scale) includes bonus and priority points as regulated. No subject in the combination may have a score of 1.0 or below. No coefficient is applied, and there is no difference in scores between subject combinations. Results are treated equally regardless of whether candidates follow the 2006 or 2018 high school curriculum.
  • For Admission Based on High School Academic Records (Transcripts): Use the average annual scores of Grades 10, 11, and 12 for at least three subjects in the corresponding admission combination; or Use the average scores of two subjects (including Mathematics or Literature as a compulsory subject) combined with a valid foreign language certificate (used for exemption from the national graduation exam under current regulations). The total score (out of 30) includes bonus  and priority points, with no coefficient applied.
     

For Architecture Programs:

  • The aptitude test (Fine Arts Drawing, Aptitude 1 & 2) is not multiplied by coefficients and must score at least 5.0
  • UPD accepts aptitude test results administered by other authorized universities
